Velociraptor screeches at eight AM!

Owls hooting at high noon!

Chattering of squirrels at half past three!

Am I in a classroom or a menagerie?

Let’s all play the silent game!

Author's Note: This is an example entry for the unofficial challenge I'm hosting. Check out the details linked below!

This is great and I see you used the word "velociraptor" lol. I had that in my Lighthearted Laughs entry! :)

Donna Fox is the Queen of the Acrostic poem, and after reading your example I now wish to see if I can write something. P.S. I didn't see an area where we limit the number of pieces per day by an author... 3?

That brings back memories for all of us. And no wonder my kids teachers sent notes home. Only thing worse than being a teacher I think is a school bus driver. I had always said I would stop after a mile and call the school and tell them to come get them. Great poem and I liked the reference to owls and squirrels. Nicely Done!!!

Well-wrought! So too is life at home with kids sometimes, which means things are good.

Hilarious! Time to make a poster for all the other teachers out there

Ah, classroom madness! I remember it well! I see squirrels were mentioned as a comparison. Not sure who comes out better in that!
