Mr Frog with eyes aglow
How I wonder what you know
I wonder why you sit down so low
And why you hop along so slow
***************************************
Why do you wear a very fancy bow
Why are you green from head to toe
Why do you watch the water flow
But never ever when it snows
****************************************
I wonder if you even know
How the birds watch you, even crows
I wonder if I named you Joe
If the fish would say hello
***********************************
Mr. Frog before you go
In the water far below
For on your leaf and in a row
You will find the world is your stage to show
******************************************

Delightful poem, Susan!! I hope this one gets shared with the grandkids! Never attempted a mono rhyme before! I suppose it’s important to pick one that has a lot of options!
Haven't I seen that photo of that frog before. Another wonderful poem by a wonderful lady. But where did you get that picture of a frog?????????????
Such an fun read☺️🥰 love Mr.Frog
This is utterly charming! The simple yet whimsical questions you pose to Mr. Frog create such a delightful sense of curiosity. The final stanza, with the lovely image of the frog on his leaf, ready to take the stage, is just beautiful. It's a sweet and imaginative piece.👍✨
This was a cool poem, Susan! The animal lover in me gives it a huge thumbs up.

This is so so sweet! It is such a lovely monorhyme - I feel like I could see a whole children's story forming around it! Wonderful work :)
