Moving Images Of Madness
Loosely Inspired And Submitted To The Poetry Of The Hunt Challenge

Apply masks
Reveal the flasks
Schedule a monstrous task
Act like a hunk
Get drunk
Fight with a punk
Perform the crystal placid river lake baptism dunk
Then something smells like a skunk
Bodies lying around
Covering the ground
Screams throughout silent night air
Alerts of an evil scare
Mist forms
Throughout a secluded castle and academic dorms
Who is the stalker?
Killing all the gossipy talkers
Looking for cash
Wearing lingerie and only a sash
Wanting a good weekend bash
Filled with images that flash
And bodily functions that pass
Gas
Seeing medical school prosthetics in the trash
An arm, a leg
Blame the spirited Yvonne Craig
Who quoted something once said
Message stays in the youth’s head
“Remember anything can happen
Especially when the hunter wants zap them
So be a dear
Buck the fear
Grab an object sharp
Aim for the killer’s heart
Then walk outside
Appear, shocked knowing everyone died
You will get top billing credit
Since you did not get it
But they want you back
Headlining an expected, money-making sequel attack”
Time to get the popcorn snack
And enjoy watching, midnight angels get hacked
