Mourning prior.

It was the beginning of dark under the rainfall,

The coldest night in spring,

A sound of rage as the storm engaged,

With all that it would bring.

The sound of thunder before the sun would set,

An anxious heart would sooner fret,

Of how anything could come to pass,

How daily needs would ever be met,

The fear of what and the coldest shiver,

Of how and when, to deliver.

So life can be a raging storm,

When we fail to perform,

But all is better despite what the storm may bring,

For blessed are the first days, of spring.
