Mountains
A poem dedicated to the liberating power of unique, individualized expression.

I can move mountains with my expression
I take a peek from its peak to dismount depression
A resurrection as I elucidate the recession of my mind
A predilection for direction and protection of my most prized possession
The very essence of me
The image to which I manifest my being
The soul to which I display my thinking
The dance to which I relay my seeing
The language to which I convey my meaning
I said I can move mountains with my expression
I take a peek from its peak to dismount suppression
A recollection of freedom from attachment and constraint
Complaints only lie in restraint of what I ain’t
Excuse me of what I am not bound by when living in color by paint
A salute to the saint in solidarity with my frame
An ally in the passerbys of my domain
I said I can move mountains with my expression
I take a peek from its peak to dismount aggression
A procession of positive affirmations in the vein of blood flow
I release my outer ego the energy within me transmuted to the end goal
I decrease the heated hole to a wholly halo
I welcome my seat highly favored at the table
I said I can move mountains with my expression
I take a peek from its peak and reveal a confession
I admit, I am liable to leave a lasting impression
