Motherhood means Putting Yourself Last
A Poem about motherhood

I have some uneven nails,
I'm not focused on details.
No proper skincare,
can’t keep up with self-care.
My concern for beauty has been decreasing,
now, all I care about is my daughter breathing.
All I care about is making sure her eyes are gleaming,
and that her smile is beaming.
When I walk into a store,
I look for something that she will adore.
I look for something that will create feelings of elation,
and something that will make her have a beautiful imagination.
Being a mom can sometimes feel stressful,
but it will never make me feel regretful.
