Mother's Lap

The Most Peaceful Place is in Mother's Shadow

By The Content CrafterPublished 9 months ago โ€ข 1 min read
Mother's Lap

When mother's pallu is on the head,

Every pain seems to disappear somewhere.

Even sleep smiles in her lap,

And the troubles of the world become frightened.

The one who knows everything without saying,

The one who recognizes in every sound,

She is none other than mother,

Who is with us in every situation.

The rotis made by her hands are priceless in taste,

The words of the heart are hidden in her lullaby.

Even when she scolds, love overflows,

Even in her silence it feels like a prayer.

Sometimes think, what are we without her?

Maybe we are sunshine, but without any shade.

The real wealth is mother's love,

Which stays with us throughout life.

This poem hits deep. It captures the unmatched emotional gravity of a mother's presenceโ€”her lap as a sanctuary, her silence as prayer, and her love as our lifelong anchor. It's a beautiful reminder that no matter how far we go or grow, the core of us is shaped by her quiet strength and boundless care. Truly moving.
