In the depths of my soul, where emotions rise,
A symphony of love, beneath tear-stained skies.
Mom, not just a word, but a lifelong embrace,
Your presence, a sanctuary, in life's frantic race.
Colliding with thoughts of separation, I tremble,
In the looming shadow where fears assemble.
Meeting the angel of death, a chilling dance,
Yet in your arms, I find my last chance.
Belief in a realm beyond, where we may meet,
Eases the ache, makes the parting bittersweet.
Oh, mother dear, the world dulls without your light,
Your laughter, a melody, in the darkest night.
I pray for you, the highest seat above,
But fear grips me, my heart devoid of love.
Wishing for a wand to extend your stay,
Yet knowing such wishes fade away.
Life without you, a meaningless affair,
You're the center of my universe, beyond compare.
Though words may falter, my love rings true,
In every heartbeat, I'm tethered to you.
