I built a Mother from stardust and dreams
I built a mother from stardust and dreams.
I tell the world she is the real one, though —
the original is not what she seems.
I know she does not say that which she means,
and I am sure that she does love me, so,
I built a mother from stardust and dreams.
My forged reality splits at the seams.
My memories absorb her 'til they grow.
The original is not what she seems.
She only speaks the language of extremes.
To save myself from her incessant woe,
I built a mother from stardust and dreams.
A different story plays behind the scenes,
and so I say to you so that you know,
the original is not what she seems!
Across the land like the Grandmaster's Queen,
soaring along with all her pawns in tow.
I built a mother from stardust and dreams.
She grew into something well beyond my means.
I fear I must leave, but before I go —
