Mother Nature

I really enjoy spending time outside in nature, so here's a fun little poem I wrote about it.

By Josh MorganPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

To be lost in nature, is just a part of my nature

Sunday morning in the park, I await her

The warmth from her sunlight wraps around me

The wind from her breath surrounds me

Her spring beauty I always love to see

With her is my favorite place to be

Because she can so easily keep my mind clear and free

Like the sky above the trees

And away from the pity I find in the city

I fall in love with her as the autumn leaves fall from her trees

Pretty white winters follow and cover the leaves she leaves with

me

Spring, the season of lovers but her summers are my favorite

The time I love to spend with her, I have to savor it

Because as much as I wish, it won't be forever

She was such a pleasure, sad it wasn't for forever

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
