She grew up with some hard times
Having riches then lost it all
Got married and was mistreated by his family
No father figure involved
Had an escape to get a better life and gain
Mother, Listen Clearly
No communication around
Fighting everyday when would it stop
They judged her in so many ways, she lost her mind
No control over her actions
She is a young girl stuck inside
So much emotion tied up in one
Letting all the mental pain out
Screaming, Yelling, and Hitting her little ones
Manipulated others who cared for her
Wishing to be out of reach, she stays alone
When her kids got close, she pushed away
Helpless and weak, she remembered she had kids
What to do when no feelings are near
How to relieve a ball of pain
Mother, Listen Clearly
Being a statue standing, no soul placed at the heart
While You’re alive, please listen to the ones who care
We do our best to do the part of giving back
