Mother Earth
Submission for Haiku Challenge

Like a mother you,
give it all to your offspring.
And they take and take.
…
You are forgiving.
Green veins and pumping blue heart.
Branches around us.
…
From the smallest bug,
to the biggest animal.
You feed, and you feed.
…
Forgive us our greed,
give us time to mend your pain.
For we all need you.

Poor Mother Earth. She suffers quietly. One day she will surely roar. Really good haiku.
