Mother Combs

She knows

How to clean homes

To get the gnomes

To leave the stones

That holds their tomes

A dog roams

Just ask Mr. Jones

Where he goes

* * * * * * * * * * *

Don’t be a goober.

Hire an uber

In December

Especially when the weather is brrr

* * * * * * * * * * *

September is near

So don’t you fear

You love your kids, dear

So don’t you leer

Because school time is near

* * * * * * * * * * *

Did you see that dog?

He was sitting on a log.

Sitting on a log in the bog.

On a log, in the bog, in the fog.

In the fog, writing a blog

Writing a blog about an eclogue

humorfact or fiction

Mother Combs

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
