Outside I am yellow, bright like the sun.
I give light and nutrients to most everyone.
Inside can be bruises in deep shades of blue.
Anxiety and sadness often ensue.
The helping of others can breathe in new life;
To see outside colors makes me alive.
I may not hold wealth in a purple like sense;
But I find when I let down all my defense;
The redness of love can finally peak through;
And finally inclusion can ultimately ensue.
What makes me unique is my eyes in a sense.
They truly see others to the full extent.
Inside I am yellow, bright like the sun;
Due to other pigments of most everyone.
