Moonlit and Evelin

A Dance of Light and Love

The moon in silence drifts across the night,

A lonely soul in shimmering repose,

Its light, a soft and constant, gentle light,

That guards the world beneath in quiet prose.

It holds the stars in steady, distant sway,

Unchanged, unmoved, above the earthly stream,

A tranquil glow that fades at break of day,

A fleeting dream in midnight’s silver gleam.

But Evelin—she is the moon’s delight,

Her eyes, like pools of starlight, deep and wide,

A warmth that softens even darkest night,

A glow that dances where her heart resides.

While moonlight lingers cold and far apart,

Evelin’s love is close, a beating heart.
