Moonlight Sonnet

They say a full moon drives people crazy

By Matt B.Published 3 years ago 1 min read

Stop, Oh charming Moon of night

Why do you dare to drive me crazy?

Your dance, your look, your frenzy

Burns my flesh your cold light

Your face is so generous, so pride

Lift me up, kiss me, raise me a smile

To please your empty lips’s why I’m alive

Swirling I’m dazed but I dance your waltz

Tell me why I’m crying, blue moon of mine

Is it your glance, your skin, or your sweet advice

Anything for you, my body is your shrine

Your gentle breath calms my dread, makes me fly

You wiped off my tears and cleared up my mind

For you my moon of love, I will make myself die.
