moonlight

a reverasable poem about reclaiming your body.

I have now learnt how to gift my body to myself.

To honour it by wrapping it in silk and lace,

I take it all off in a sensual love dance

Between the moonlight and I

melting like candle wax

i shed anyone's unwelcomed touch,

wondering eyes,

venom soaked words.

they drip down my body,

cleansing me.

I feel the love of my ancestors.

"you are mearly a piece.

the forbidden fruit

on a posionous tree."

They whisper in my ear.
