Dear Mr. Moon,
I was wondering, if you could help me, please? I’ve got some pennies for your well, I don’t expect this talk for free.
See, there’s this boy I know, and man, I wish, that he belonged to me. He fills my heart with joy, like I’m the sand and he’s the sea.
His eyes are bluer than the sky and I believe that he hung you. The crickets sing as he walks by and I don’t want to be a fool. If you could teach me all the ways of love, I’m willing to be schooled. No one resists signs from above or the power of your pull.
Hey, Mr.moon, if you could cue the stars, to sparkle in my eyes, all we need is just a start to unite Jupiter and mars. I know that we are different and sometimes we disagree, but it would mean the world you see, if he would fall in love with me.
Maybe you could sprinkle a little magic in the air or put some twinkle in my step, made for patching what isn’t there. I know that you can pull the ocean tides and set the waves in motion. So, won’t you please give our love a try and help me display my devotion?
I wouldn’t waste your time, sir, if you help, I’ll do my part. I’ll twist my words into rhymes and learn to captivate his heart.
I know that love is fragile and it takes two, to make it right. So please send your magic down and illuminate more than just the night.
❤️🥰

Lovely Kelli. What a beautifully written letter with just enough of the 'Kelli rhyme' to set it off.
And I thought, you are magical already, Kelli. 🙂
There's nothing like a little Moondust to make us see what we want. Good job.
Cool concept here, asking the moon for help. Kinda reminds me of a a Beatles song I hadn’t thought of in years I think the title was “Mr moonlight”. Great entry Kelli :)
