Laying peacefully and dreaming that I would love
Indefinitely floating in the skies while the sun beams to the left of me
I prayed and chanted for you to see how loving me unconditionally would fill your heart
With this ring you purchased, look at these glimmering diamonds, as I swirled in a circle
Looking at my ring finger, closing my eyes in disbelief, tears running down my face
Moving in circles but just running in place
Then I opened my eyes and it was such a sad moment
Since coming back home it has been so depressive
Hearing your voice and knowing your incarcerated
You said it was ME, but that wasn’t our destiny obviously
It’s unfortunate for your tears as well but letting go is beneficial,
The past is haunting
I feel your pain
Closing my eyes take me back to my dream again
