Month of Ramadan

The moon appears, so soft, so bright,

Welcoming Ramadan’s sacred light.

A month of mercy, pure and true,

Where hearts renew in shades of blue.

The call to prayer fills the air,

Voices rise in whispered prayer.

Hands unite, no soul alone,

Love and kindness brightly shone.

The thirst we bear, the hunger deep,

A test of faith we vow to keep.

Yet in restraint, our spirits rise,

A path to grace before our eyes.

At sunset’s glow, we gather near,

Breaking fast with joy sincere.

Dates and water, warm embrace,

A feast of love, a gift of grace.

A time to give, a time to share,

To lift each other, show we care.

Ramadan’s light, so pure, so bright,

Guides our hearts into the night.
