Monsters in my head

Nagwanga gwan

By Michael Boulatsakos Published 5 years ago 1 min read

WE ALL LIVE WITH MONSTERS

DEEP WITHIN OUR MIND

SOME HAVE EYES AND CLAWS SO LONG

SOME ARE HARD TO FIND

SOME COME OUT

WHEN THE MOON IS SLEEPING

SOME ARE WIDE AWAKE

WHILE THE SUN HAS GONE TO SLEEP

IN YOUR MIND THEY RAPE

THE VERY INNER SANCTUM

THE DEEP

THE HEART

THE CORE

SOME TAKE HALF OF WHAT IT FINDS

OTHERS

THEY TAKE MORE

THE MONSTERS CALL YOU CRYING

WITH AN EERY FAINT HOWL CRY

OTHERS THEY DEMAND YOU LISTEN

WHILE LOOKING IN YOUR EYE

OTHERS THEY COME SLOWLY

CREEPING UP BEHIND

WAITING TO YOUR HALF PAST DEAD

ONLY THEN YOU FIND

THE MOSTERS FROM THE MIND THATS YOURS

OWNS A PART OF YOU

BELIEVE IT OR BELIEVE IT NOT

THESE MOSTERS THEY ARE TRUE
