Lost in the shadows, I walk alone,
A child's delicate heart once shone brightly.
Ten years old, though the world can't see.
A monster took me, and I am now far from being free.
In a moment's whisper, innocence was torn.
A monster's grip clipped my world.
Snatched away from the safety I knew,
Into a nightmare where the sky is not blue.
The darkness scattered and revealed a chilling hue.
The monster's lair is a scary space.
No familiar faces, no comforting hand,
There are only echoes of fear in this lonely land.
I mourn silently, scream unheard,
Underneath the dreadful skies of the monster.
Shattered dreams, hopes tainted by shock.
I am longing for the warmth of home's light.
The days go on and on.
Caught in a mess, lost in a maze.
Dreaming of love, for rescue's grace,
A monster, a lonely space, trapped me.
I beg the angels for a guiding light
To lead me away from this shaded night.
To find me here, where monsters live,
And bring me home, where love exists.
If you hear my quiet plea,
please look past the dark and see,
I am just a kid, lost in this whirl,
praying for rescue in this monster's cruel world.
