
Carried life in her body and lived on
Daily process of distributing her own
Her own fluids, tissue, organs, bones
Mommy did that
Smiled a smile wider than her pelvis parted
Diffused her energy to this reproduction process
Inklings to turn down, constantly fought it
Mommy did that
Held her head high while literally weighed low
Faced fear in the face to tell that tyrant no
Planned a life for extra life, barely having her own
Mommy did that
Held her body a home for another being
A portal for movement from cell to human being
Faced doubt in the face and told it hell no
Mommy did that
