More Alike Then We Care to Admit

A mother’s love is unconditional for her children.
Honest, and true
though the words
I forgive you
are rarely spoken,
No matter what you do
she’ll always love you.
She might question you’re actions
but
she’ll respect you,
because
She’ll know
she taught you
Right
Wrong
and
everything in between.
Soon it’s my mom’s Birthday,
and for years I thought WE
were different
but
We are the same,
We are both
Proud
Strong
women
who love,
deeply
and hurt easily
although we’ll
Never admit it.
When we cry. we cry real tears.
Beneath that tough exterior is a real
Woman
that would go to bat for you,
No matter
The Risk
A true friend
We’re the same
through and through
Mom I love you
