Mom life

poem

By Megan GodbeyPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
Love my family ornament!

Pitter patter on my floors,

The sounds of my kids playing loudly.

Enjoy them while they’re little,

For they’ll only be small for awhile.

Diapers and formula bottles everywhere,

Sounds of laughter and giggles too.

Screams and crying,

Siblings fighting all day and week.

Sickness, pain, and sadness too.

Mommy can only cure so much.

Hugs and kisses do the trick with some,

I’m trying to be the super mom they need.

For they will forever know my love,

I pray they remember me when I’m gone.

For my love is true and wholesome,

I try to tell them everyday.
