Missing My Sister

Far Apart, but Never Far from My Heart

By Bardo HernandezPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I miss your laugh, your voice so bright,

The way you’d calm my darkest night.

In every room, there's now a space,

That once was filled by your embrace.

The talks we’d have, the things we’d share,

Now feel like whispers in the air.

Though you're not here, you're in my heart,

No distance could keep us apart.

I miss you more with every day,

Wishing you weren’t so far away.

But I hold on to all we’ve known,

Until the day you come back home.
