Missed Your treat

October 31st was fine and dandy until the little kids came to get candy.

The mini wannabe freaks come out at night.

They wanna eat my candy bowl in one bite.

I’m just chillin’. Tryna binge watch horror movies.

But these little brats make my front door a movie.

All Hallows’ Eve sweetness got em’ running hot.

Now they wanna take all the candy a brother’s got.

They won’t leave any pieces of my Reese’s.

I’m pretty sure they’ll outmatch my sour patch.

Will they be dressed scary? That’s a doubt for me.

I was wrong. They scared the daylights out of me.

Mini Michael Myers, Pennywise, Jason and Freddy.

Not even four feet tall, but at my front door and ready.

Ready to get all my loot like it’s door dash.

They beat me up for my candy. I got jumped for my stash.

I missed those days as a kid when I could get the treats.

Though I miss the treats I can still give a trick of treats.
