I need you to explain

My beautiful God wrapped in pain

Why I am not enough for you

I'd kiss away every scar and bruise

After a gilded nereid you chase

I'm in deep to my waist

Your cord will pull me under

But if I cut it, you will swim away

And never look back

Never even look back

I'll go back to my holy water

And drown on my terms

While you cut yourself endlessly

To die in her arms

I'll watch the water turn red

I'll wade in to hold your head

But you'll see only her in my tears

While she floats away

And she'll never look back

Never even look back

    great written

  • Well-wrought! A Midsummer Night's Dream is always someone's nightmare, but at least the Fae had a good time...

  • A beautiful love poem.
