Mirrors

Do You Care? Two Poems in One Place

When you look in the mirror

What do you see?

Do you see you, or the person others want you to see?

Mirrors can be deceptive,

Always telling lies.

Except for when I look into my eyes.

Mirrors are deceiving,

Reflecting all the pain,

On you, the one staring,

The one to blame.

Do You Care?

Do you care about me?

Could you show it?

Stop “bro-ing” at me

And support it.

I'm not your dude

And it's extremely rude

To try your hardest for someone,

Only to find out those feelings are gone.

So, if you care about me,

Show it.

I'm done.
