Mirror

Feeling like a mirror is hard,

because you feel like you reflect,

everyone’s insecurities back at them,

so no one wants to be around you.

You feel like everyone sees themselves,

in you and nitpicks at you,

and it can bring you down.

You have to remember,

that you are your own person,

and they don’t truly know you.

You are like metal, like fine gold.

Others may see their reflection,

but it does not mean you're them.

You’re golden.
