Mineral Goddess

Awakening A Heart Of Stone

By Darienne WilliamsPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

Waves of sweltering radiation circulate between bones-

whilst labored lungs sing salacious symphonies to the introduction of your pheromones.

What is this sweet ecstasy deliberately suffocating me? Blissful apprehension frolicking amid muddled pools of insecurity.

Who are you strange creature? Merely a dream? A ferocious force of nature oozing seductive steam?

But what if I hurt you and you turn me to stone? What if this is but a passing fancy and I remain empty and alone?

Endless questions, reveries, and an insatiable hunger for reciprocal intrigue. All the while, witnessing ethereal alchemy bury my foolish fossil fatigue.

However, all good things must come to an end- for thine lovers, enemies and friends.

As the sun rises the truth is revealed, the Mineral Goddess was just a statue with no heart left to steal.
