The constant chatter is distracting
The second guessing is exhausting
My inner voice is an asshole
She talks me into a lot of shit
Then decides when we’re done with it
My inner voice is an asshole
She holds me back from my life
She is the cause of my inner strife
My inner voice is an asshole
Tho she’s gotten me this far
She has left an inner scar
My inner voice is an asshole
We have a complex relationship
But I think we’re a good fit.

But she’s mine.
