Milkshake & Cheesy Chips
A poem about how one act of kindness can make someone's evening.
When a bestie is poorly,
and she's so far away,
and boozy bonding is
not a viable option,
and all she wants is
A milkshake and you
Know her favourite
food is cheesy chips.
I knew it was time to
download Deliveroo
and find a place nearby
that did both milkshakes
and cheesy chips and viola!
The number she had to give
to the driver was 69 and
we laughed you couldn't make
it up even if you tried
my best friends thought it was
a brilliant act of kindess
they were so happy and Pumpkin
the cat was happy too.
