Mikiel was a young girl, an only child of her mother and father. She dreamed of having a sibling. She would come up with names with her friends. She would play with her dolls and imitate her mother. It came upon a day, her parents told her they were having a baby and she was excited. She asked her teacher to teach her how to be a big sister. Mrs. Martin said, you have to share, help take on chores and watch. But first talk to them and play. Mikiel said she will eagerly agreeing. The teacher said even now you can help your mother, by not getting on her nerves and helping your father. So Mikiel tried for several weeks till her mother noticed something wrong. She explained, I'm only a child, what do I know about babies. I'm too little. Her mother said I used to be you. I used to be young and before I got this belly with your sibling. I tried to work hard like you. Let your father and I handled this, we love you and your sister equally. Okay and when she grows we will want you to help her as her big sister should. After sometime, her mother gave birth and as Mikiel saw her, she said, Hi little sis, boy are you beautiful. Those eyes and nose, you're look like me. My reflection, I'm gonna love you and care for you. And when you get old, I'll protect you.
