Midst of it All

Verse 1
Well, I wake up in the morning, coffee in my hand,
Got a list of all the things that I had planned.
But the winds of distraction whisper in my ear,
And I find myself driftin’, nowhere near here.
Chorus
Not to brag or anything, but I lose my way,
Caught in the fever of this ordinary day.
With the sun shining bright, I’ll forget my own name,
In the midst of it all, nothing feels the same.
Verse 2
I’m walkin’ through the garden, pullin’ out the weeds,
But my mind’s on the sky, with its billowing seeds.
Thoughts fly like the birds, out into the blue,
While I’m tryin’ to remember what I’m supposed to do.
Chorus
Not to brag or anything, but I lose my way,
Caught in the fever of this ordinary day.
With the sun shining bright, I’ll forget my own name,
In the midst of it all, nothing feels the same.
Bridge
Oh, the world spins softly, as I wander and roam,
Every step I take leads me further from home.
Lost in conversations, in the stories we tell,
I’m just a little wanderer under the stars’ spell.
Verse 3
Now the evening is drawing, shadows start to play,
And I ponder all the moments that slipped away.
Though I’m tangled in the tapestry of dreams I’ve spun,
Every thread bears a story, each one just begun.
Chorus
Not to brag or anything, but I lose my way,
Caught in the fever of this ordinary day.
With the stars up above, I’ll forget my own name,
In the midst of it all, nothing feels the same.
Outro
So here’s to the wanderers, the dreamers who roam,
Finding beauty in moments, wherever they go.
Not to brag or anything, but I’ll cherish it all,
In the midst of this life, I’ll rise when I fall.
