Midnight Antagonist

-----

Anxiety, Anxious, and Angst gather within my head, manifesting a

Beacon for my body’s betrayal; my heart bangs on the

Chest and the white cage, believing it’s a crowded

Dungeon, not its protector.

Every sense is jeopardized: I’m

Feeling spiders crawling up on me, hearing many loud voices telling me to

Get rid of my morals and grit– my life and

Humanity?! Not leaving those behind!

I see the obscured faceless men observing my body

Jolts like I’m Frankenstein’s monster while I’m forced to see a red room of

Kinsmen slaughter- get me out of here! I wish

Love and

Magical spells immediately cure this disarray. Ha! This is

Not a romance tale with an

Overdose of cliche that removes mental ailments with a kiss. I only can

Pace back and forth, fighting the

Queasiness and acid

Reaching and clawing up my throat,

Spitting at me

That they are here to stay.

Undo the spell of Unease’s

Vanity! I want to head back to

Where my house was my asylum instead of being

Xenomorphic. Now, I dissociate myself into

You as me in a feign healthier life, always kicking my

Zen onto the trail of the forgotten.
