Michael, Michael!
I am dancing uncontrollably.
The hellhounds barking as my heels
Run me in the same circles with lava eyes.
Stay them, let them be swallowed alive!
Michael, Michael, Michael!
My heart is a desert well filled to the brim with dust.
Every wind takes more of me, and I am shunned by even the birds.
This grave--this desolate waste where I lie.
It has no name.
It's worshippers are gone.
Erased from memory, even my own.
Win for us that which has been lost!
Michael, Michael!
I am covered in mallow, but
The world requires armor-thick scales.
I am a whale speared by too many harpoons.
I am hooked, crestfallen, shot down.
Let the ocean lend ear to my lament.
Give your force to my prayer.
Quell the waves in riotous discontent.
Put to sleep the troubled leviathan.
Michael, Michael, Micheal!
Take from me all arrogance and fear.
I have curled upon myself in a vulture's pit
Cut off from the feed of revelation
By the teeth of murder.
Michael, save me, I am here!
With your deathly accurate spear and
Wings of stardust illuminating all they brush
Light the pathway and speak from the bush!
Girt with Love's omnipotence,
And gleaming with her sanguine blush.
Michael of the iron heel!
Michael of the flaming tears!
Michael, God's own warrior!
Michael, who fells all fear!
Michael with sword-tongue!
Michael, angelic brother!
Michael, highest warrior!
