My Precious
My Kitty
My Muse
Your fur is as soft as a fluff
When you purr
My heart delights
It soothes anxiety and sorrow
From life’s great fights
If only I could read your mind
And speak this language too
When life gets hard
And I want to give up,
You know just what to do
You sing your sweet song,
You cuddle me close,
Your toe beans are in plain view.
As a cat you are perfect
In many ways,
So I wish to give you your due
My kitten
