Metamorphosis

Figuring life out after finding out you were adopted

By Kallie VenturiniPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Life is hard, my world seems crazy.

Would it be easier if I was just a daisy?

People with family take them for granted. When you don’t have family you understand it. You wish you had them to take for granted. A mom and a dad, I would be very glad.

But here I am a lonely butterfly.

Waking up after 30 years of so many tears. Thinking I was just a worm inching by and by. Not even knowing I was a caterpillar trying to reach the sky. Once I was surrounded by so many things, now all I have is my wings. Life is crazy, life is a dream.

Maybe one day I’ll understand some things.
