Metamorphosis
When beneath the moonlight's magical glow, I found my home in him!
This silent, lonely, restless night, does the full moon grieve,
And spill its mystic spells so bright, do you still believe?
Innocent, sweet childhood dreams, in grown age, have they died,
Or do they live, or so it seems, in the hearts of those long untied?
The twinkling stars above, do they whisper fascinating tales,
Of sincere wishes made with love, and eternal hope that sails?
This, my longing for a cozy place that is called home,
Does it endure forever, wherever I helplessly wonder or roam?
When I find my home in him, beneath the moonlight's glow,
I choose to stop wondering within, and the magic heals me slow.
Even though my wishes in the past, may have gratified or flown,
New ones ready to emerge fast, in every shade and melodious tone.
The moon's enchanting silver glow, cast on my broken parts,
In the milky brightness, tears flow, igniting transformative hearts.
If unaltered we both remain undergrowth, love's treasure we miss,
Just like the moon’s waxing crescent, true love blooms in metamorphosis.
