Merry Christmas Vocal!

Staring at the blank page,

Tears in my eyes,

Don't know what to say,

Or where to begin.

Thinking back to those early days,

When my life was a mess,

And I was almost breaking.

Those were the years of trauma;

They felt like they were never-ending.

Now;

After no confidence,

And no self-esteem;

Followed by the inability,

To write words on my screen.

I sit here smiling,

I thought I'd never achieve it;

But, I did!

I achieved that long-awaited dream,

For my writing to be seen.

So; Dear Vocal;

Writers and staff too,

Here is my Christmas wish to you.

You followed me on a journey,

I never thought I'd get through;

And between the joyful tears,

For that I say thank you.

But, now I want to say;

You deserve a break,

Because you write wonderful stories,

I love to read too.

My Christmas present to you,

Is to wish you peace and joy;

So, Here I say,

Merry Christmas Vocal,

Thank you for supporting my journey.
