What does Christmas mean to me. It means....
a chance to remember on the past,
think about the present,
and about the future.
Christmas is the chance to share feelings, if possible.
Hoping others will listen or just give the ordinary smile.
It is a time of family, but what if you feel like an intruder, or just someone to do chores.
My memories do not coincide with the memories of the family I am now living.
It is lonely not knowing how to join in.
M is for merry
E is for excitement
R is for restoring old memories
R is for realizing what is important
Y is for you
C is for caring about others in all ways
H is for hope, helping and health
R is for reading the story
I is for investment in others
S is for security in yourself
T is for timely
M is for the many others from the ancient past to now if you know what I mean...
A is for angels helping out
S is for Santa Claus and Merry Christmas!!!!

Wild Card Weekend Recap: What Happens Now?
I think I figured out why I love Wild Card Weekend so much. It's because it's the first playoff anything of the calendar year. The NFL season starts in the fall, and once upon a time, the champion was crowned either on or slightly before New Year's. The evolution of the NFL schedule has resulted in the playoffs starting just into the New Year, and currently, the final week of the season falls on the first weekend of the New Year, with Wild Card Weekend coming a week after that. So yes, chronologically, the NFL's Wild Card Weekend serves as the first playoff anything of the calendar year.
