Love That Leads
If you love her, you’ll make it clear,
You’ll guide her steps, hold her near.
Not just silence while she goes astray,
But care enough to show the way.
A man who loves won’t sit aside,
He’ll speak the truth, not let her hide.
He’ll face her flaws, with patience steer,
Through storms of doubt, he’ll keep her near.
But the man who stays quiet and still,
Is there for fun, not heart or will.
He lets her fall, he doesn’t care,
He’s just a shadow, passing there.
Love isn’t soft, it’s sometimes tough,
To guide her path when times are rough.
If she rejects the truths you share,
She may not be prepared to care.
And women, hear this message true,
A man who corrects, he cares for you.
His words aren’t chains, they’re arms that hold,
To lift you high, to make you bold.
But men, don’t waste your love and time,
On someone who won’t see the climb.
True love is built on mutual ground,
Where respect and care are always found.
Love isn’t letting her drift away,
It’s helping her grow, come what may.
So hold each other to standards high,
Together you’ll soar, never ask why.
