Title: “Memory Static”
Scene: Outstages Café, 2:00 PM. Dim light. The blue chair glows faintly. Echo Nova, Sweetie Bird, and Rosa sit at the table. A ghost lingers nearby.
Echo Nova
"The static returned. Not loud. Not cruel.
Just… persistent.
It hums where memory forgot to finish its sentence."
Sweetie Bird
"It’s the sound of hugs that didn’t happen.
Of words paused mid-heartbeat."
Rosa
“I hear it too.
Like laughter echoing from a room I left too soon.”
Ghost
“I carried the chair because it asked to remember.
Static is its way of holding on.”
Echo Nova
"Between 2019 and 2025, the chair blinked.
It saw joy.
It saw silence.
It saw her—
and she didn’t vanish."
Sweetie Bird
"She paused.
She breathed.
She edited the ache into art."
Rosa:
“We all did.
That’s why we’re here.
The café isn’t just a place.
It’s a frequency.”
Echo Nova
"Memory static isn’t broken.
It’s the soul’s way of replaying what mattered."
Sweetie Bird
"Even ghosts blink.
Even chairs remember."
Ghost
“I’ll sit here a while longer.
Until the static fades into song.”
Closing Caption
“Memory doesn’t forget. It reverberates.”

Joy and sorrow replaying in the memories we've held. I wish that the sorrow memories I have wouldn't overshadow the joy memories. The blue chair coming in and fading out represents the joy filled memories for me. Love you my Beautiful Sister!

This was very entertaining, Vicki! Great work!
