Never ever did I think it would be true

Never ever would I have thought it'd be you.

Whoever said "Nice guys finish last"

Should have included girls in that sentence too.

Tell me why you did what you did

Tell me why I'm now lost, stuck, and confused.

Did you know that this is how it would end?

It doesn't really matter because here my heart sits bruised.

Now I'm left with all these memories of me and you.

Left with the baggage I have to try and not pass on or project

Or from now on should I obstain, and love I reject?

This is an emotional read that touches on something a lot of us have been through. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes losing a love results in us finding that one true love that lasts. I know this because it happened to me.
