Memories

How to be remembered

By Arthur WaltonPublished 4 years ago 2 min read

So if this is to be it, the end of the road as they all been known to say; My stories conclusion after the turning of the last page.

The Grand finale as it is deemed by the colorful Shriners circus; Then make it a final declaration proving once and for all plus to all you are not worthless.

Since your entire life you have been told that you would never be able to measure up; That you could not and would not ever be a big dog instead just an annoying lil pup.

So for as long as memories exist in your mind you have only had one true agenda; To prove each and everyone wrong who doubted you and treated you like a pretender.

Just to show you are more than anyone believed you could be; To prove you have no shackles or limitations on what you may achieve.

Totally unfair to critique someone solely off other members of they family clan; Where to pass judgement before meeting or giving them a chance by least shaking they hands

Honestly tthough who has the right to say someonom will not become a man; At least give the chance to show and prove what they can do or capable of producing.

Just unable to wrap my head around this way of thinking or begin to comprehend; Exactly how someone can have certain beliefs is something I just don't, won't, and can't understand.

Now todon get me wrong everyone has right to live by their own beliefs or thoughts; Ideas such as that is something that just can't be taught or never bought.

Long as your willing to stand on your own behind what you say at the end of the day; Let's be real, different ways of thinking is the melting pot of the American way.

Our differences is really a strength for our people when put together and used right; If we was all the same then it be pointless and wasteful of time to disagree, argue, or to fight.

And all for what, what we want to attain, hope to gain, or want to achieve; By standing up for what we want as well as for what we really believe.

By doing so can be so much more fulfilling than any known prophecy; To me one most powerful things in world is man's belief in manifest destiny.

Instead of trinkets, treasure, or gold trying to proclaim one's wealth in time of death; Leaving lasting legacy of being fair, wisdom unbeknownst before, or amount of character strength.

Now that sounds like the best description of one's life work, teachings, and memories I love to leave behind; For others to not just immulate but copy for future generations to use not only survive but to be able to thrive.
