Memories in the Still of the Night

Life's Treasures and Pleasures

In the still of the night,

Under the moon's gentle light,

I think of all that I've seen,

And the memories that gleam.

The laughter and tears of the past,

And the moments that forever will last.

The joys and sorrows, the highs and lows,

And the love that forever will grow.

I think of the places I've been,

And the people that I've seen.

The friends I've made, and the ones I've lost,

And the memories that I've accumulated at any cost.

In the still of the night,

I am filled with wonder and delight,

For I know that life is a gift,

And it's up to me to make the most of it.
