Memorial Butterfly Poem 💜
In memory of Kyleesha & Kyle Ascough, Father and daughter.

Butterfly in the skies poem;
Hello my name is Kyleesha and I’m an angel in the sky,
My family thinks of me on special occasions,
By releasing butterflies.
Tears do not come to their eyes
For they know me well.
I lived the best days of my life,
With mum and sister by my side.
The level of comforts you need when the news is rough,
But that’s okay because my dad says I’m tough.
He is strong like King Kong,
Cancer is the reason I’m no longer on the earth,
But deep down in your hearts you know to research.
Sometimes there’s no one to blame,
That’s the way life goes.
I still had a smile on my face even with snot in my nose.
My hair is all gone and mummy calls me super saiyan,
Nothing beats time with my big sister, Shaylee playing.
She’s mine and I am hers together we get threw.
Mum believes Part of me grew on shaylees shoulder telling her what to do,
If only we knew where she’d fly?
They say looking at me in the sky,
It’s been one year today without me by their sides.
A father and daughter now rules the skies,
We will watch over you all in disguise.
Guiding you and wiping tears from your eyes,
Best believe the best is on your side.
Now and every year after set free the butterflies.
