Men fear the oblivion of faded memory;

Earthly minds grapple with eternity,

Mortal hands build castles in the sand,

Etching names into the dust.

Nevertheless, word and deed,

They are buried, considered

Only by the earth that cradles their bones, and the

Mud that fills their mouths.

Once proud heads bend to time.

Remember, friend,

In the end, you must die.
