Melody of Love

A Four-Letter Word Symphony

By Bora Zubeyr AkinPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
Harmony between Lovers

Pure love, soft as morn's dew,

Calm as a dove, true and new.

Deep ties that bind, me and you,

You are my sun, my sky's blue.

Eyes that gleam in the dark night,

Lips that beam, joy's pure light.

Arms that hold me oh, so tight,

Life with you, pure and bright.

Your gaze, my soul's pure fire,

Your touch, my heart's own lyre.

With you, my joy lifts higher,

A love that won't ever tire.

You're my song, bird's sweet ring,

My calm when the moon does swing.

With you, love, I find my spring,

My all, my love, my everything.

Take this poem, hold it near,

Let it kiss your soft ear.

My love's song, for you my dear,

Sung loud, sung clear, for all to hear.
